The Society as a whole already see as very important aspects the safety, health, the environment and quality when it comes to the distribution of chemicals and petrochemicals.
Therefore, members of the Brazilian Association of Distributors of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (Associquim) since 2001 are to implementing and maintain their businesses in the Responsible Distribution Process (Prodir).

This program is based on the Responsible Distribuition Process (RDP) of the North American Association National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD). By being accredited in the Prodir, companies now operate on a new line planning. This represents that to grow and remain in chemical and petrochemical market in future scenarios, organizations rely crucially on the incorporation of rules of social responsibility and sustainability in the organization. Thus, it becomes a quality guarantee for the producer, confidence to the customer and security to the community. Thus, it causes related at health, safety and environment they become a priority for all activities, products, processes, facilities and community.

Is important say that the Associquim is titulary member of Steering Committee do International Council of Chemical Trade Associations (ICCTA) being represented by its chairman at meetings both in the ICCTA as the NACD and FECC, the most discussed topics are: The chemical industry should make every effort in the sense that its distributors have the certification of the RDP, and independent audits on companies who established the RDP, as has been done in Canada, the United States and Brazil with the certification of Prodir.
